[Home][Guides][Cases][Issues][Index]Court Papers: from the chambers of A.V. Siracuse, NY Supreme Court

Between 1975 and 2005 I was privileged to serve as a Justice of the Supreme Court of New York in the Seventh Judicial District, headquartered in Rochester, New York. I hope that practitioners will find the site of interest. Even more, though, I hope that through the medium of the Internet I can give those of you who have never studied law, served on a jury, or engaged in a lawsuit some insight into one of the oldest and most important branches of our government. I can imagine a state without a legislature, and one without an executive; but one without a system of justice can hardly be called a nation at all.

Andrew V. Siracuse, J.S.C. (ret.)
